The urns are accentuated with four projecting “Lion’s” heads and bases with “Paw” feet. The Derby Factory began producing porcelain wares as early as 1750 and were well-known for high quality products, many of which were derived from French Sevres Designs. The Urns display the Derby mark with the Crown above two crossed batons, below which is a “D” in red indicating the pair were made between the years 1806-1825.
