A very rare Baltimore Federal mahogany and bellflower inlaid mahogany corner cabinet, circa 1800-1815, with three tapered legs with inlaid feet. The front legs have trellising and shaded bellflowers; a distinctive characteristic of superior Baltimore Neoclassical case forms. The upper section has two inlaid doors with glass panes divided by mullions. The lower section has a large drawer above two doors revealing a cabinet. The piece retains a mellow surface with excellent “patina”
