A strikingly handsome and very bold diminutive New England Federal mahogany and tiger maple bowfront bureau, or “swelled front” chest of drawers, about 1800-1815, with the original Sheraton brasses, vivid color, good patina, ivory escutcheons, and splendid proportions. The case of this bureau, or chest of drawers, rests on elongated “French” flared feet. New England, like Portsmouth, New Hampshire

CONDITION: Exceptionally fine with no repairs of note. This chest retains its’ original Sheraton brass pulls.
